Everything you need to write about Py-Mentor: the official description, the key points, the fact sheet and the brand assets.
Learn Python by writing real code.
Py-Mentor is a mobile app for learning the Python programming language from scratch. It combines short, structured lessons with an editor where you write real code and run it to see its output — not a simulation.
The course is organised into levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and covers everything from variables and loops to object-oriented programming, file handling, regular expressions and working with APIs. Every lesson includes hints, common mistakes to avoid and step-by-step guided exercises.
What sets Py-Mentor apart is its AI-generated feedback: when you submit your own code, you get comments on what works, what could be better and why. It is not a test being marked, it is a reading of what you actually wrote.
Around the learning there is a system of daily streaks, experience points, a daily challenge and a virtual currency (PyCoins) that is earned by using the app and spent on cosmetic items. The app can be used anonymously; linking a Google account is optional and exists to back up your progress to the cloud.
